About Me
Other than the special people in my life, home decorating is the thing that brings me the most joy. I love creating warm and cozy spaces that make me feel like I want to grab a cup of tea, a good book and curl up into a comfy chair.
Although I did not follow the typical path to becoming a decorator, my passion for this field quickly turned into an obsession. After practicing on my own home and the homes of my friends and family for more than a decade, I decided it was time to take the leap and start down the path towards a career in interior decorating. The result has been that I get to do what I love every day and bring the joy that I have for this field into the homes of my clients.
If "Welcoming" was considered a decorating style, it would fit me perfectly. I can't walk into a room without immediately feeling how we could make it cozier. However, as a decorating fanatic I have a true appreciation for a well-designed room, regardless of the style it is decorated in. Rooms that are as functional as they are beautiful make my heart happy.
Although there is no denying that re-designing and re-decorating a home can be a costly endeavor, I do not believe it is the only way to achieve the dream of having a home that you love.
Your home today is likely filled with treasures that are just waiting to be placed in the right spot so that they shine. If your home is more of a blank canvas, there are countless sites and stores with pre-loved decor and accessories that can add interest and finishing touches. Sometimes just rearranging the furniture in a room to make it more functional, and adding some color and personality is all that is needed to bring a space to life.
That is the value that a decorator brings to the table. Home decorators have the ability to look at a space and see its potential; the beauty in the seemingly ordinary. My goal is to help others to see the beauty that is hidden within their home.
